The Africa Monologue Challenge (AMC) has formally proposed a high-impact documentary series titled “Intra-African Trade in Action” to the
AfCFTA Secretariat. The project aims to move the free trade conversation from high-level boardrooms into the daily lives of Africans.
The series will follow the 10 finalists of AMC Season 3 as they travel to Côte d’Ivoire in March 2026. These cultural ambassadors will document the actual cross-border trade processes they encounter, providing a rare "behind-the-scenes" look at continental integration.
Bringing the AfCFTA to Life
The proposal, submitted to both the AfCFTA Secretariat and Ghana’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, focuses on practical, lived experiences:

Case Study: A primary focus on the trade corridor between Ghana and host nation Côte d’Ivoire.

Global Ambassadors: 10 finalists from 10 different African countries will live together in a Pan-African House for one month.

Reclaiming the African Narrative
Nana Dwomoh-Doyen Benjamin, President of the African Chamber of Content Producers, emphasized that this project is about "content sovereignty." For Africa to truly integrate, he argues, Africans must see the continent through the lens of their own data and stories.
The Africa Monologue Challenge, co-founded by MK Casting and supported by the National Film Authority of Ghana, has evolved into a major tool for cultural diplomacy. Following previous editions in Ghana and Uganda, Season 3 in Abidjan will now bridge the gap between creative arts and economic policy.
